Spring Walking Festival
Now in it's 26th year, the Isle of Wight Walking Festival remains one of the UK’s most loved and largest walking festivals, offering over 150 walks across two nine-day events, for all ages and abilities.
What's On
Save the Date! This year the Spring Festival takes place from the 10th to the 18th of May and the Autumn event from the 4th to the 12th of October. The Spring Festival also includes the popular Walk the Wight in support of local hospice, Mountbatten.
An event for keen hikers, relaxed wanderers, and curious explorers alike, the festival is a friendly coming together in the great outdoors for all ages, offering a chance to meet new people, learn and discover the many wonders of the Island.
This year's walks are still to be released, however the Isle of Wight Spring Walking Festival always promises an array of walks and treks, including some old favourites from over the years. Most walks are free or with a donation to charity and led by volunteers and local businesses keen to share with you the Island’s varied landscape, thriving wildlife and rich heritage.
Once available to bok, you can choose a route to suit your ability, be it a heart-racing hike, gentle stroll, or walks that the whole family can enjoy - there is something for everyone.
Head over for a day or stay for longer; with over 500 miles of footpaths across beautiful countryside and dramatic coastlines, once you’re across there will be no stopping you.
